Brits Reveals Concerns To Have Holiday

People go for a holiday to stay sometime without stress and strains from their hectic schedule. Whether this is relaxing by the pool sipping cocktails, taking in some culture at a museum or a more active pursuit like mountain biking. All worries about their day-to-day life should be at back while traveling and enjoying with a family in a holiday.

This rarely appears to be the case as a recently released piece of research by American Express reveals that a significant number of Brits are not able to take their thoughts off domestic worries while away on holiday. According to the financial services firm, some 70 per cent of people are overwhelmed by some sort of anxiety during their break. Of such consumers, just 26 per cent state that they are worried about rising costs of living back home.

However, such concerns emerge to weigh especially heavily on the minds of 25 to 34-year-olds, as American Express pointed out that 35 per cent of these people are concerned about increasing prices. Though, this troublesome situation can be solved by taking out low cost loan. A unsecured loans provides financial assistance to the borrowers to meet with various commitments like- paying off credit cards bills and utility bills along with availing finance to spend on holiday.

The study also showed that 28 per cent of women are also worried about increasing living costs, with this making a third of young people nervous. An opting for loan may prove to be the most fruitful option to deal smartly with rising cost of living and enjoy a break with family without taking tension.

Commenting on the figures, Sarah Harrison, director at American Express Travellers Cheques, said: “A holiday should be a time for rest and relaxation. However, as our research reveals, additional strains and pressures of home are often difficult to leave behind. It is important to think carefully about how you carry your money abroad is one way to give you peace of mind when abroad.”
