Brits Cut Down Night Outs To Supervise Stiff Fiscal Times

A significant number of people are under pressure about their capability to pay off household bills effectively.

According to the declaration of money supermarket, currently, 34 per cent of people are under pressure about how they will meet the cost of heating their home over the winter months. However, with rising inflation and high cost of living the utilities companies have announced their second round of price hikes for 2008, which revealed that people are facing difficulty in the areas of expensive gas and electricity rates.

The research conducted by price comparison website indicated that, just a tenth of Britons believe that they will still able to manage their utility bills despite of increase in energy prices. Whereas, 23 per cent said they will have to cut down their spending on other areas of expenditure in order to accommodate for increasing gas and electricity costs.

Due to rising cost of living, it is very difficult for salaried class individuals to manage financial demand. In order to make balance in the payments taking loan at reasonable rate of interest is a most appropriate option. Loans will help the individuals to pay the bills for electricity, gas, credit cards, and mortgage repayments on time without fail.

Further research from money supermarket revealed that some 16 per cent of Britons are in an attempt to save money, and with the same percentage of people are looking forward to use energy in an efficient way.

Commenting on the research, Scott Byrom, utilities manager for money supermarket, said: "With many people worried about the rising cost of energy, it is good to see that consumers are looking to use energy efficiently or switch to a cheaper deal to save money by taking loans.
