Experian Disclosed Environmental Anxiety Of UK Motorists
According to a new study, the environment is becoming a major concern for those looking to buy a car.
In a recent research conducted by Experian it was revealed that 23 per cent of men are looking for ecological impact of an automobile to be taken as an important factor when purchasing their next automobile, with this increasing to 30 per cent among men.
Research from the firm also pointed out that those consumers who used to change their car on regular basis should think about environment first, before buying a next car. About 30 per cent of Britons who entail new cars by every three years or less state to be worried about the environmental performance of a vehicle. In contrast, only a fifth of those who keep hold of their cars for longer periods of time are under pressure about the carbon footprint behind a set of wheels.
Meanwhile, about two-thirds of women claim to be worried about the influence that their current vehicle has on the environment. However such consumers fall to 45 per cent among men. This ratio accounts for less than half of males, it still makes up for a respectable number of drivers who have ecological concern in towards their car.
It is difficult for consumers to arrange cash in bulk or huge amount to buy a new car of their choice. For those consumers looking for an effective way in which to purchase a new vehicle, applying for a low rate personal loan can be an appropriate option to fulfill the dream of new branded car.
The firm also revealed that older motorists are more likely to be worried about the environmental factor while driving. Just 63 per cent of 55 to 64-year-olds were said to be aware about the environment when purchasing a vehicle. However, among those between the ages of 18 and 24 this decreases to 52 per cent.
Commenting on the report’s findings, Kirk Fletcher, managing director for Experian’s automotive division, said: “Our research shows that the environment is becoming a bigger concern for car owners. This would be continued to grow. Customers worried about the environment will have to face a lot of questions before they take final decision to buy.”
