Loan Applicants Suggested To Be Truthful
It has been suggested that people need to be completely truthful when looking to borrow money from external sources of finance.
According to Equifax, those wishing to seek out a loan or some other kind of credit should always be honest with money lenders. Pointing to research conducted by UK fraud prevention service CIFAS, the credit reference company indicated that a rising number of Britons are telling lies on borrowing paperwork.
However, it was revealed that those who lie on their forms in an attempt to secure a cheap loan are likely to be found out by monetary services firms and could have their application rejected. This may put the borrowers under pressure in meeting household bills, mortgage or rent costs, previous loans they may have taken out and other sources of financial demand. In such scenario taking out bad credit loans may prove to be great assistance. These loans provide finance to the borrowers despite their poor credit status, so that they can easily cope with all their financial commitments.
Neil Munroe, external affairs director for Equifax stated that "In bad times, there is a temptation to manipulate the information on an application form but it will get discovered by the lender. At the very least, the application being rejected could, in itself, work against someone's credit score.
In an effort to maintain a good credit rating and so enhance their chances of securing a cheap loans, Equifax suggested consumers seek a copy of their fiscal history before making an application for a loan to help them become aware of what criteria they will be judged on. Prospective borrowers were also recommended to take the time to ensure that they are registered on the electoral roll. This, it was claimed, is an important way in which money lenders can check the identity of an applicant.
Furthermore, closing old credit card accounts was put forward as a way of helping a request to borrow appear in the best light possible. Upon receiving a loan, the credit reference agency suggested borrowers to attempt to make more than the minimum monthly repayments, with the setting up of a direct debit also recommended to help people avoid falling behind with demands for payment. Seeking bad credit loans help the borrowers to make a proper balance between income and expenditure, so that they won't get trapped with negative impact on their credit file by presenting false details.
